Mari  received her training from Lana Reed (Shakta Khalsa) and Kartar Khalsa through the RCY yoga teacher training program, 75% Kundalini Yoga and 25% Hatha Yoga based, on beautiful Shaman lands in the mountains of Virginia. Through RCY she also trained with B.J. McNellie (Guru Jagat Kaur), Lisa Danahy, Jyoti Rajput Bajaj, and Lisa Brodrick.  Her first teacher trainer was Becky Eschenroeder through the YoKid Children's Yoga Teacher Basic Training Program.

 Mari is certified in the fields of yoga that pertain to physical and energetic anatomy, family yoga, yoga for children, yoga for the elderly, yoga for adults, the brain and yoga, yogic lifestyle, happiness, prosperity, and yoga philosophy.
 

She received her certification  to guide children with Autism, ADHD, and those who are differently-abled, in Qingdao, China, through Radiant Child Yoga under the guidance of Lana Reed and  Sarah Gigante.

Mari is a Radiant Child Ambassador, trained to lead workshops that teach child professionals in schools and other child-focused settings how to incorporate yoga into their work with the children they serve.

Mari has the honor of being the mother to two magnificent children, and is the wife of a professional
​star-gazer and technical expert.
